Do I need to re-register with Maxis if I change from Postpaid user to Prepaid?

Apparently I have decided to switch from Maxis’s postpaid to a prepaid package for one of the  two accounts I maintained with Maxis. I still am a Maxis customer even after the Maxis’s promotion shenanigans.

The second Maxis line was a number I ported from Celcom and I’ve used it for iPhone 6s Plus package that I sign early this year.

To the question on this topic, do I need to re-register after the switch from postpaid to a Maxis Hotlink? I have found out today, the answer is no. I use the same user ID and password to access my Hotlink account and it just works.
