The cheapest Xperia Z1 Sony flagship can be found for RM1699 and in purple color. The market price is still below RM2000. (Conspiracy theory has it; the screen is from Xperia Z – I can’t remember where I heard it from, was it from The Verge podcast? – Sorry can’t remember.)

The big brother at 5-inches is too big for me, maybe you don’t think so (which is fine) but I definitely hated it. I did try to love it and wanted to buy it but I my head says big screen and flatness feels so dumb in my hand.

I want to be the first to put my saliva on this 4.3-inches screen Xperia Z1 Compact when it is available in Malaysia. “Compact” is a better branding than “Mini” IMHO.
