Before I get into my story…
Long time didn’t write about IT related stuff. You know how time flies and just a blink of an eye we are 3 more months to go before 2007 come to close. This gives a very good opportunity for people to upgrade a good and up to date computer system. Christmas is around the corner and big shot like Dell and HP should be offering reasonable price for notebooks with current latest performance spec like Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T7800 2.6 GHz, 4MB Cache, 800 MHz FSB & Nvidia GeForce 8700M GT Graphics card. If you plan to buy an Apple MacBook, not that I have anything to against it although MacBook do gives you dual boot capabilities but comparing to the price I think I choose to have a better performance notebook than Mac OS on my system. I must admit I really fall for MacBook but it was really at the higher price range that turns me off.
So if you are a desktop freak like me (hehehe) I guess our world is just never been better! Just 3 month ago I bought C2D E6420 at MYR660 and today you can use the same amount of money and buy C2D E6750 2.66 GHz, 4MB Cache, 1333 MHz FSB (better bus speed at 1333 compare to mine at only 1066MHz). If you have extra money to spend, Intel Quad Core Q6600 2.40 GHz, 8MB Cache, 1066 MHz FSB at MYR965 would be great companion!
For motherboards, these day all high end board are normally MYR900 and above while the mid range between MYR500 – MYR900 and the entry level are all below MYR400 so choose wisely.
Since DDR3 came into picture but was not really make into the record breaking (Yes! break the record of being the most expensive), DDR2 pretty much still the most use RAM and for a value RAM-667 1GB the price is at only MYR105. I am still wondering when we can see a better price for DDR2-800 and DDR2-1066. Two of this DDR2 range is still very, very expensive.
Display card at this moment Nvidia are still taking the lead in the market, as for the price… nothing much change (still very expensive) accept maybe between DDR2 and DDR3 card, the price are more or less the same. Check out Hardwarezone for the interesting and informative finding on graphic card before you decide to buy.
Here’s the story
PQI Intelligent Drive i810 is the smallest USB flash drives in the world. If you like fashion, cool, easy to carry around but not thinking to hang it around your neck, this one is for you (not that’s anything wrong with that! Hehehe). If you tend to misplace your stuff… this is a bad idea for you! LOL
If you currently still holding big fat thumb drive I think you should change! PQI i810 come with 2GB of capacity slim and tiny and few options of color to choose from. Just to remind you one thing though… PQI is like LV or any branded name you could think of! It’s very expensive. No joke!
Flash drive has come a long way since the founder Dr. Fujio Masuoka in 1984. These days, almost all our mobile appliances are affix with flash drive e.g. mobile phone, PDA, mp3 players, IPod, digital camera and etc. Flash drives are known to be tough and some are made to be water resistance. Capacities of storage might be limited but you could find Solid State Drives maybe famous to the world should it be more cheaper (but it not ;p) 512GB might be releasing soon this year.
I use my PQI flash drive for Vista Ready Boost and it work flawlessly. So get one yourself today!
