Whiskered Tern in flight spotted in Kota Sentosa Kuching

Whiskered Tern (Chlidonias hybridus) is a beautiful and slick seabird that I spotted flying on our neighbour fish pond.

We have been staying in Kota Sentosa for the pass ten years and this is the first time I saw a seabird. According to my friend @horukuru (an expert in bird guide also a spoke person for Nikon EDG products) Whiskered Tern does visit the land.

I think this is a very rare occasion and I really impressed how this bird hunt for fish at the pond. A very persistent species.
