Today is one of those days when the speed of of my DSL went from 8Mbps to just 0.24Mbps!

Luckily I don’t have to complain too much about this lousy Telekom Malaysia Streamyx connection.
I was saved by Maxis — 61Mbps, not bad! At least I have choices. Unlike many years ago, if my Streamyx down — everything else down. There’s no backup internet service that is reliable to keep working on my task.
I am paying for this lousy 8Mbps DSL line for RM168 a month and I am glad the government has announced a 25% price cut on broadband service by the end of the year. Double the speed half the price — what a good news! I’ll rejoin when they finally implement it.
Right now, I wish I can just cancel off this broadband service and just use my mobile internet. Well, we can’t do that — as fast as the speed goes on mobile internet, there’s a limit that we have to adhere to. Almost, everything that passes through the iPhone, iPad and my ChromeCast are streaming.
So no — I’m keeping this lousy service for good.
