What’s it like sitting next to a guy when the only two patrons in the cinema only you and him?

Why do the other guy seat next to you when there are plenty of seats available?
Wouldn’t know the real reason, but few guesses; He probably try his luck to see if it was a single lady that would be seated next to him, the second reason is probably the first reason.
