Have you seen the old 30-pin iPod connector?

I was visiting my friend at his home yesterday. He is a long time Apple fan. He told me he invested a lot of money buying Apple products a decade ago. He says he still love Apple product and his only complaint was Apple a proprietary freak. Reminiscent his frustration with three Cinema Display Monitor he bought was not compatible with PC. He waited a few years before the PC hardware was finally supporting Apple Cinema Display Monitor.

Anyway, I was really interested with the now discontinued 30-pin iPod connector. This beast was really beautifully crafted. The clip! Yes, the clip on both sides that secure your connection between cable and iPod was truly well throughout design.

This is just a simple cable that by most standard be ignore by any company. Why would you want to put so many details on a cable? Not Apple, they continue to make beautiful products to this day.
