Maxis’s Samsung Galaxy S i9000 unboxing

Samsung Galaxy S this might be something you’re looking for — It’s a stealer

Seen many Android phones but Samsung Galaxy S at 4 inch super AMOLED screen, an affordable price makes it a stealer.

Plenty of reviews have been done side-by-side of iPhone 4 vs Samsung Galaxy S and I can only see the conclusion as in both are catered for different needs and market.

My wife has been using the phone for a while.

Android 2.2 Updates

Android Froyo 2.2 is coming soon and I can’t wait to update the current 2.1 to 2.2. Although Samsung UK has been giving the reassurance that the 2.2 would be out by end of September, it seem that the official release isn’t ready yet as of this writing.

Maxis Galaxy S

Currently Samsung Galaxy S i9000 is available exclusively on Maxis. Personally I would recommend taking the 12 month contract. The reason? Phone technology are changing each and everyday you would want to have your contract stay short for future upgrade.

  1. after been using touch screen phone for a year, i’ve to say that i don’t like touch screen. aahhahah.

    i like qwerty.

i’m not into blackberry and so far, the qwerty phones i’ve seen are all…. boring.

so i’m back using the classic nokia.

    sigh.

    • The typing on touch screen does makes many people uncomfortable. When it come to iPhone most people forgo the weaknesses for the cool responsive touches.

Having said that, Nokia C6 is a great phone too! In fact one of the affordable touch + qwerty.

For Nokia, I am just not too fancy with Symbian OS.

In my opinion, these day Nokia is playing the catch up games in the industry especially when iPhone and Android making so much buzz and they know they will be left behind in no time. Nokia still holding the record for the total phones I am afraid they will died one day. Let’s hope the new CEO will make the come back for Nokia.

On that note, fans of Nokia would still be able to enjoy the many design in a single year churning out from Nokia factory. (I can’t even keep up to Nokia with their phone design! Nokia is crazy!)

      Hehehhehe cheers!

    • Hahhahaha she definately a 宅女!

Android is a good OS and kinda hot now.

I have to say Android is pretty much technical in the way customisation is concern. Most people who never use a smart phone may find themselves trying to get use to the OS environment and some instantly don’t like it. One of my female friend wanted to sell her phone off after use it for 2 days.

For your gf it should be no problem 🙂

I still have to respect the team that make Android a great UI. From a plain coding into nice beautiful system. Not easy task 🙂

    • Speedy!

I’m rich! I think I should sell gadgets stuffs. Just 2 weeks ago, I do a shout out on FB for a 10 days old MacBook White, I sold it off within minutes!

Now that Speedy need 14 or 4 of this phone, its proof I’m good at this!

      Hahhahaha
