Notes Reminders Calendars New Feature that You and I Really Need – SnapShot

Notes Reminders Calendars New Feature that you and I really need – SnapShot

Here’s my proposal

You know what sales people do? Other than selling they took a lot notes the kind of notes probably only as good as understanding doctor writing – you won’t understand a thing if you’re not a sales person.

Sales people make appointment – lot of appointments. Appointment is lifeline to every successful sales person.

The one common thing about sales people and public at large – we own a super cool gadget – most of them prefer iPhone. I prefer iPhone – All my friends in sales line prefer iPhone.

So we make good use of this smart phone.

I don’t write well — I couldn’t find the words to write in many situations. Every blog posts I ever written in my super cool blog took at least 2 to 3 hours to complete – you know – the idea come in slow.

In sales we are talking about speed and we need to remember and memorize lot of details of our clients.

Stop and think what to write is not an option.

I wish iPhone apps like Notes, Calendars and Reminders has this feature in it.

SnapShot

We need the ability to take a SnapShot and add it in our Notes or Reminders in iOS or OS X and than MAGICALLY added to calendar.

SnapShot Usefulness

When you have lot of documents on your table that you need to get it complete – take a SnapShot and arrange the date when to get it complete. FIFO is useful here.

You were doing sales hunting and were at the road side – you are no writer or reporter that quick enough, smart enough and memorize enough of a places or company – take a SnapShot and arrange a date, make appointment while you have rough ideas of a company via the SnapShot.

[dropcap style=”font-size: 60px; color: #9b9b9b;”] #3 [/dropcap]
Making a note couldn’t be easier if you hate typing. Forget about the S pen Samsung is hyping about.

Sometime customer will write something on a scrap paper and because it easy to get misplace – take a SnapShot and arrange your appointment.

As you can see – this feature save me from thinking what to write. Sales people spend time how to sell but spend very little time thinking what to write just to make a note.

  1. I don’t use ANY digital calendar…I like my OLD desk calendar…the At-A-Glance monthly paper calendar. I suppose it’s my last remaining rebellion and my fondness for many things that have left our lives. Heck, I used to dictate letters to a secretary who took long-hand dictation and then typed it on a typewriter and I approved and signed that letter, which was then MAILED!

    • Bruce! I love you. hahaha you still use good old desktop calendar, typewriter and than mail it! wow I leave that part a long time ago.

I hand delivered all my card to my clients instead of using the good old fashion postmen. Probably I can’t really trust them deliver my mail on time without getting misplace.

So nice to received your comment.

      Cheers
