After waiting since 20th July 2023, today, 26th July 2023, I received my Denon AVC-X4800H. 

There are many courier service agents in Kuching, but the only few I really trust are DHL, GDEX, or ABX. I’m on pins and needles waiting for my package, and I don’t even know which company is delivering it.

Shopee Express seems to work as a hub in receiving parcels for entire Shopee sales. The parcels are then sent to the intended locations, which can be anywhere in Malaysia. Once the parcels arrive at the intended locations, they are stored in a warehouse until they are ready to be delivered. At this point, Shopee Express will delegate the delivery of the parcels to local courier agents. In my case, my Denon AVC-X4800H was sent by ABX.

I think many people can relate to the pre-parcel anxiety that comes from not knowing which courier agent will be handling your parcel. Shopee Express’s practice of not disclosing the name of the courier agent only adds to the anxiety. I have the worst anxiety when I think that my not-preferred courier agent is handling my parcel without TLC (Tender Loving Care).

I am so relieved that my parcels have finally arrived, and I am even more relieved that they were delivered by ABX!

I did a quick unboxing to check the condition of the unit, and everything seems to be in order. I have not yet tested it, but I am hopeful that it is working properly.
