I’m in the market looking for a printer that I will use for the next 10 years. Maybe 5 years.

I am however, not ready to part my hard earned money for more than RM250 for a printer. I know, if you talk some sense to me I might just go for the best one money can buy. I won’t do that, not at the current economy.

Printer in general is ugly. You can try to put them any where you like, it just an eye sore. Bulky-ugly, the design has always been done wrong! Can’t justify the high buying price.

I have the old Xerox Phaser that were running out of toner and I just can’t wrap my head around to buy a new toner. The one cartridge of toner can in fact buy you a new printer! This old junk has no official driver for my Mac because Xerox decided that this machine need no extra supports. I use third party driver and I can print from it but not scan. Who need scanner these day?

I wish I don’t need to use a printer but the fact that I need to print hard copy for my tax report purposes, I have no alternative.

What I have in mind for my desired printer? I want it to be able to print from network, WiFi or Air Print.

Maybe after writing this post, I might be able to clear my head.
