Jesselton Point Kota Kinabalu
Gets your tickets, diving equipment, beach mats and anything you need from the counters. However, you will need to pay for entrence fee separately when you arrived at the island. Tips: beach mats can be rented from the island itself.
Getting to Jesselton Point is just few minutes walks from the town areas and if you prefer, texi from the hotel will always be ready to connect you to Jesselton Point.
Some visitors prefer taking cab not from the hotel, if that was the case you can basically get a cab anyway in town. You can held a cab at the busy street — just about any way so long you can see a cab pass by, normally they charge much cheaper compare to the hotel service texi.
Jesselton Point Fees and Charges
- Water Taxi fare – Price to any of the island can be from RM18 for adult and RM12 for children. You may get a special discounts from some of the counters. Get your best price from establishment that provides more boats – it’s important in case you would like to get off the island early.
- Diving – Equipment rental for mask & snorkel from RM10 onward. If you’re a professional divers you may need to contact them directly for appointment.
- Jetty Fee/ entrance fee – Jetty fee are RM6 for adult and RM3 for children while entrance fees upon arrival at the island is at RM3 for adult and RM1 for children.
That is it all you need to get going — to one of the world beautiful Borneo island.
