I wanted to get an iPad Mini since last year but because the current iPad Mini does not come with Retina Display, I hold my buying. For a while it has seemed I was able to restrain myself from committing but when I started to hate my iPad 2, I dive in and giving in to the darkness.
I spend RM1299 for the 32GB WiFi version white iPad Mini and a very beautiful Uniq “Lolita” Mermaid Tear cover. Initially I wanted a black iPad Mini but Switch Kuching run out of stocks so I got the white color instead. iPad Mini with a new Uniq cover, it’s the best of both worlds. My wife uses Uniq cover for the iPhone 5 and obviously she will pick the same color from the same brand, it was the best decision ever. We have now owned three products from Uniq.

Now, this bit may not interest you but I am going to tell it anyway. I was crazy for iPad Mini. I go as far as joining every contest I think I can win; workplace, Chinese New Year contest and shopping contest. Heck, I even hope to win the giveaway by Chris Pirillo. I won RM1000 from one of the contest I joined. I use the money to buy an iPhone 5 for my wife instead.
Getting the White iPad Mini 32GB yesterday was a great joy! I am going to “caress” this baby until the Retina Display version released by Apple later this year.

I’m using it for my reading and Audio book. light weight and i’m sure it will not fall flat on my face every night. The regular size iPad is really heavy after prolong holding.

It’s a great device! I’d love to have one, too, in the future, but now I’m kinda saving money as a new father and hope, that the iPad 3 lasts for at least another year 🙂 Happy for you, bro!
