If you are looking for cheap and affordable iPad with retina display that is under RM1200 Apple have got you covered. Recently, Apple retired the iPad 2 line and replace it with iPad 4 at the Apple Store.

First of all, iPad 4 is a very good iPad. It’s powerful enough for the latest games and productivity apps that you can find on the Appstore. It may not be as cool as the iPad Air/iPhone 5s A7 processor that run 64Bit but it is good enough for almost everything else.

IPad 4 definitely runs the latest iOS7.1. A6X chip is by no mean a slow processor, in fact, it is still one of the powerful processors in Apple lineup and I have no doubt it will receive another two years of iOS updates (or more) in my opinion.

If you are getting the cellular version, iPad 4 has an LTE. My wife’s iPhone 5 has Maxis LTE and so far I don’t think it makes any significant life changes for us. It’s just nice to have but won’t make a wow to the universe because the support was fairly limited.

I don’t understand why some people think it’s bad to shoot video and picture with iPad. At any given time, I would use my iPad Mini to take photo and video. iPad 4 has got a very good camera you can take advantage of.

Last but not least, you get all the Apple free app like Pages, Numbers and Keynotes. These apps use to be a paid app but now it is free with any new Mac, iPhone or iPad.
