I have seen many Maxis 3G setting posted online and personally I think it’s all work the same. I have tried all of it and I don’t think it makes any difference. It just gets you connected to the internet and you start (hopefully) surfing.

If you’re experiencing issues with connection, you should call Maxis with the specific request; you might get a special setting which unique to your modem but that required Maxis personally preset your modem on their server. I think that’s how it works but I might be wrong.

At the end of the day, it is your location not the setting. Modem setting can be auto configures but the location where you get good signal and best wireless network experience is always subjective. Not even one Telco dare to promise you the best service anytime anywhere.
