How to Hide Twitter Messages in Tweet Deck

I use Twitter a lot for news updates. If you want to keep up to date with your favorite artists, sports, news, tech, and etc… twitter is the best source of quick peek into the real deal.

Unfortunately, social networking can be very annoying sometime.

Take for example foursquare.com, not that I have anything against it but sometime you just don’t want to follow on too many location updates via Twitter unless it add values and stories to the event.

To me Foursquare are best uses for traveler, tech writer and bloggers alike that following an event. For blogger like me, updating my location every moment may note be too useful to my readers.

How do you hide messages that you do not want to see?

In Mac

Open TweetDeck. Look for “Settings” icon and open it (on your keyboard, hold down key Command+,) than go to Global Filter.

In Windows

Open TweetDeck> Settings> Global Filter

TweetDeck/ Filter Updates

Type in the information that you wish to hide – It can be People, Words or Social Networks. That’s how easy to hide a tweet that you do not wish to read.

      Hello there Caroline 🙂

Thanks for dropping by too and please drop in often and also remember your way out, just follow the sign at the entrance. Often my followers walk in here and can’t find the way out!

My mum said “that’s a big problem, son!”

Hootsuite is cool but very slow on my Android phone, on my Mac and Windows. I use Echofon most of the time on my Mac 🙂

I thought you love Foursquare? You just lost a fan to stalk you hahahahah okay I’m kidding.

      Cheers
