Kuching is in chaos this morning. The stories of a girl who tripped over a drain and immediately carried away by the strong water flow have not been reported found.
#Updates – it is learned that the victim and the rescuer (form Six student Kho Yong Qi and petrol station cashier Herman Sihas, 29) their body has been found, although there’s no confirmation of this we shall know when we have the official news.

20 Jan 2012 Body of Kho was found at river near Sejingkat Kuching. That’s at least more than 10KM from the place where she was drown and subsequently wash away by monsoon drain.
Some said the head was missing, the mom blame her self for the death of her own daughter etc… Whatever is it – may her soul rest in peace.

I was at the area this morning the flood from 3rd miles to Batu Lintang is bad. The changing pattern of tide trigger the higher level of water and worse – the heavy rains since last night making the situation even harder for our Kuching sewer to handle.

What i heard from one of my FRiend that quite close With kho family said,just 1 or 2 day ago when they re wake up in the morning ,they c the floor is all wet ALmost whole house floor is wet ! Could Tis mean kho ying i come b home?bcoz they been living for so Many year now n they nvr c Tis kind of thing happen.sorry my english nt so Good. And 1 more thing,ying qi giv her Mother Dream Dat she was stuck Around a grassy area,and she ASk her mom to help her.then after Dat her mom wake up n call the rescue team immediately to focus oso on the side of the river,tat y u c they re using bulldozer to Clear the soil n grassy area..i juz wan to share !
Thanks Jordan – lets hope they found the body soon. It’s a tragic that this has to happen.
Daisy – the water have subside but the lives of a innocents people have been taken away by the poor planning and the lack of preparation of the authority. Maybe people will argue that this is just an accident but whoever seat on the throne should be responsible to the tragedy.
To me it is just lack of health and safety prevention instead of what they call “act of god”.
Anyway it’s a tragic day for the family effected – my prayer goes to the family and friends.
