Download Windows 8 CP Now
Finally Windows 8 Consumer Preview is ready for download — Direct link for ISO 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) are available. It will take me 7 – 8 hours download time on my 1Mbps line and I will let it run over night and check it out tomorrow morning.
Windows 8 Logo
I thought the color is pretty boring but if you look at it from Microsoft point of views of new modern logoI guess it pretty make sense. New Windows logo portrays much of the tile and Metro feel that the company promotes.

Our final goal was for the new logo to be humble, yet confident. Welcoming you in with a slight tilt in perspective and when you change your color, the logo changes to reflect you. It is a “Personal” Computer after all – Sam Moreau (Principal Director of User Experience for Windows)
Tilt in perspective – I like the idea and pretty simple and elegant. Again, I don’t like the color but since it changes color like chameleon – pretty exotic.
