Do you need TRIM Enabler on OS X Yosemite?

This is my very first Intel SSD (Solid State Drive) that I bought in May 2013, I install OS X Mavericks on it and I needed a TRIM enabler (a small hack to enable TRIM on OS X). Despite the hack; it was actually never work, and the SSD filled up over time.

With OS X Yosemite (10.10) Apple is still not supporting TRIM on third party SSD. I know this is really frustrating.

There’s at least some good news though. It seems TRIM do work on my Intel SSD. I have been running OS X Yosemite for a month now and I have been monitoring my SSD activity and it works just fine without any TRIM hacks.

On my MacBook (13-inch, Aluminum, Late 2008) the answer is YES, TRIM support work just fine. At this point, I will just ignore the system information which indicates no TRIM support for my MacBook.
