The title of this post seems to be over exaggerated but that is how I feel right now.
I received a message telling me my line was barred because I have reached the set limit. I was shocked and I make a call to Digi and ask them to check.
They told me I have an unbilled amount of RM274.02 and I ask them to tell me what is that amount of; low and behold, it’s for the internet usage and all the amount billed was for yesterday alone.
So yes, I’m screwed.
I am not happy for a few reasons. One, I never turn on 3G on my iPhone since the day I use Digi. Two, I didn’t even use my phone for the whole day yesterday. Three, I can’t make calls due to the barring and four, I have to pay for something I never use to have the call barring release.
This is really unexpected.
Digi customer service ask me to call them again on Sept 1, 2013 to request waive off and they will then investigate the matter. They told me they understand this is a very sensitive issue.
I hope this is not a permanent issue for me and I definitely not willing to pay.

So what’s the update? I’d be upset too if I had to pay for sthg I did not use nor had the intention to use. 🙁
I still following up on this. I just call them 30mins ago and they can’t access my billing report just yet and ask me to call back by Saturday.
I am asking them to waive off the charges. I think they will help me, so far they didn’t make any comment on my issue so I guess the reaction was positive.
Will see how it turn out this Saturday.
Mean while, I didn’t pay the bill just to activate the line. If I pay now I need to pay at least 75% to release the line – about RM200. I thought thats a little bit of a waste when my cash flow are locked in for Digi. My bill on a monthly basis is about RM30 and the minimum commitment is RM50 so it’s really a waste if I pay in advance for them.
Anyway, My bad day didn’t stop here. I just got scammed off RM1750 over the weekend. I thought the Mudah.my ads on MacBOok Air was legit. I pay full amount and the laptop never came.
I ve used wap access point once instead of GRPS internet, the bill was about $100 for just one day. Now WAP with robbery prices is gone.
Must be a billing error for you… Can you request verbose details for usage from operator? Usually its offered for free (Email/Web delivery)
I have no idea what happen. This is really a shocker! I can check online but no details yet for the said amount. I hope it is an error.
