Cracker and Coffee

Sometime the most enjoyable breakfast is the simplest one. Breakfast with cracker and coffee for example – it’s like blast from the the pass.ย Do you have your story with cracker & coffee?

Most of us at home love crackers and dip in coffee – it just like you can live without a Maggie!

Those crackers look good, Netster. I don’t drink coffee, so don’t know how that would taste. I like to spread peanut butter on mine and have them with a glass of milk. ๐Ÿ™‚

Izzit the Hakka ‘trade mark’ eating ‘ham piang’*cracker* with kopi ‘o’? We practically grew up eating cracker or marrie biscuit for breakfast and supper. About 9pm mama would make a kettle of kopi ‘o’ and Bananaz would bring out a stack of bowls *the Chinese bowl with blue fish design used for eating rice* and a whole tin of cracker. Sit tight! My friends lolz shaking their heads thinking we are one crazy Hakka family. Voila…when the kopi ‘o’ is filled up to the brim of the bowl, in goes the cracker..oh yummy yummy haha. Was talking to Mango the other day about buying a few of those Chinese bowls with the fish pattern and to blog about it haha. Know what? We all go to bed after that and over the years even Nescafe could not keep us awake till today.

My Grandmom’s know I love to dip dip my cracker onto the coffee and I think we all enjoy doing that. Those were the day… I miss my Grandmom’s coffee.

She is not a great coffee maker but I sure miss the smell of the cheap hot coffee.
