Celcom iPhone 5 Coming October?

iPhone 5 will be officially available in Apple Store September 21 in nine countries including Singapore follow by 22 countries and another 100 countries by December 2012.

When is iPhone 5 coming to Malaysia?

After watching the iPhone 5 event, eagerly I gave Celcom a call the next afternoon. I cannot tell you how much I was excited when the person who answer my call told me the iPhone 5 will be available next month (October 2012). I ask him if he has an exact date, he said no.

Will Celcom unveiled iPhone 5 next month? Though the phone call sounds convincing, it is still hard to say. Let’s be optimistic, we shall call this one a plausible event.

Malaysia iPhone 5 Price

The price of iPhone 5 is likely to follow the current pricing. 16GB RM2190, 32GB RM2590 and 64GB RM2890.

If you are not interested to sign up with a contract, you should be able to buy iPhone 5 directly from online Apple Store without a contract when it finally available in Malaysia.

    Why is Malaysia always behind other countries in terms of launch date? Singapore is just next to us, yet different launch date? Is it something to do with copyright and trade mark issues or what?

      Hi Rick! I do not think it was the copyright and trademark, but I think it has a lot to do with the purchasing power (just maybe) and Apple rank which country to go on sales first.

      The recent news on QC at Foxconn would have delayed the production to serve more customer and I guess we should be at least getting a better quality second batch stocks.

      I have to agree with you, Singapore is like 30min from Malaysia and yet we are getting the iPhone 5 months later, which I think it’s pathetic!

        are you sure? i think it doesnt make sense as in Ireland the price is much expensive which the 16GB cost about 659 euro, 32gb 759 euro, 64gb 859 euro (I’m malaysian)

          Year over year the price are the same.
