Canvas WooThemes definitely is dead 💀 and as a newbie, I’m a big fan of Woothemes. Over the years, I keep changing WordPress theme, I ended up still going back to Canvas even though it doesn’t support Gutenberg at the time. Like Die Hard movie — this WordPress theme is pretty hard to die because there are so many angry fans 😡 When the guy at WooThemes farewell, good bye to Canvas.

It was a great WordPress theme, it really is! It’s easy for newbie like me and for the professional — this theme is a rock star! Internally, the team at Woo must have been battling it out as to keep or not to keep this theme.

Even though there won’t be any more new feature for this theme — I don’t think, but I’m really glad they at least updated the theme to work with Gutenberg.

I am a happy newbie again, I’m not sure when did the team at Automattic updated the theme to work with Gutenberg, but I am very, very happy about this update!
