Apple Memory Module 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 (PC3-12800) – 2x8GB

I spotted a new item added to the Apple Store (Malaysia) today. Looks like this is an Apple branded DDR3 RAM?

One thing for sure this RAM cost RM1360 isn’t inexpensive. For prospects who are interested to buy the new Mac Pro at RM9699; you know the RAM cost for 12GB ECC DDR3-1866 would be well over RM1360 at this point. (What’s ECC?)

What’s the asking price on the street for 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 (PC3-12800)? It is probably around RM500 – 700 only.
