MacBook Pro refreshed with higher specs

but maintain the same price range.

Apple Malaysia price starting at RM3699 – 13” 2.4GHz dual-core Intel Core i5, 4GB 1333MHz of RAM, 500GB HDD, Intel HD Graphics and built-in battery that boost 7 hours juice.

My 13” MacBook cost me RM4999 back in 2008. For RM4599 – cheaper by few hundred ringgit – I would be able to owned a 13” 2.8GHz dual-core Intel Core i7 MacBook Pro with 750GB of HDD.

If you’re looking for your first Mac or an upgrade – this is by far the best value for money from Apple.

    Now I think is the time for me to get one! My Dell is showing me its limits, I need something stronger. And maybe a NAS in addition to store my data safely for the future.

      great choice bro! Have you give MacBook Air a thought? since you travel a lot you will really appreciate something super light but powerful at the same time.

      I have not use one so Im not sure how well it perform but judging from most of CEO in tech industry example Facebook CEO also use it – I think it must be as powerful enough for daily use.

      Give it a thought bro – I think you wont regret it.

    no nvidia gpu? since when they changed nv to ati ? i guess they arent planning to install nvidia for mac’s anymore then?

      I don’t think they will add in NVIDIA. My MacBook had bad NVIDIA driver after upgrading to Mac OS Lion.

      Looking at NVIDIA website there’s no available driver too.

      *fuming*

      I have been a NVIDIA supporter for a long time. 🙂

      Compare to 2 – 3 years ago? yes – cheaper 🙂
