Orangutan really look a lot like us they caress their kids like human do. Orangutan in Lok Kawi seem to be less active.In Kuching however the ranger have to call them in from the wild life. Orangutan in Kuching in not in captive.

Here’s three more photos from my visit last Christmas to Lok Kawi Wild Life Park for the second time. This animal never fail to amaze me with their naive and slow moment. They don’t seem to afraid of height, the bear were some meter height shelter and relaxing when I took the photos.

Rocco the Borneo Pygmy Elephant died at 27 I read the news from the TheStar on the 23rd Feb that a Borneo Pygmy Elephant had died. When I visited Lok Kawi Wildlife Park last year I was devastated, taken for a cheap ride by cab driver that over charging. The cab driver makes me feel guilty as if the whole incident was my fault because I agreed to his term. I was frustrated because the 2 hours promisses by the cab driver was not enough to time visit this park. Photo above was the last photos...
