Maxis send out an iPhone 5 emails to customer to collect their iPhone today.

Update: Not today, and it broke my heart. Sorry guys. The email that I received made me believe it is today. I was too excited and waking up my wife at 8am and we rush to Maxis at about 10am only to find out I misinterpreted the email. What Maxis should have done, put a date on the actual date to get the iPhone 5.

If you have registered for the Maxis iPhone 5 this week, the lucky few of you should receive an email inviting you to pick up your iPhone 5.

I have received mine and we are ready to pick up our shiny new iPhone today! This one would be the Christmas present and also a long delayed birthday present that I promised my wife.

We have iPhone casing ready yesterday

Ironically we have bought a Uniq iPhone 5 casing yesterday and we have no idea that the iPhone would be coming out today. Expected 14th December. My wife uses her skill with the casing design.

We are going to Maxis now and I’m going to do an unboxing post soon. The biggest thing to happen to iPhone since iPhone is not iPhone, is the fact that I am picking up one TODAY!

Finally Maxis put a date on it. The damage has been done and I am sure Maxis could use a little apology. Oh well.

      Hi Mandy!

      I asked my friend moment ago whom work at the store, they will sell if they have stock. The iPhone 5 stocks are more or less prioritize for telcos and I believe in east Malaysia stocks are super limited and slimmer chance for our local mobile company or even Switch Kuching to sell the the device same time same day.

      Anyway, Since Maxis Kuching is not doing the launching for the iPhone 5, I hope plenty of stocks to be distributed for everyone. (for Maxis customer I mean)

    this email indirectly tell you, you are not selected for the launch and you can go to queue it by yourself on 14th and not today.

      I guess I am too crazy and so freaking wishful to get it ASAP.

        haha, its a agreement between telcos n apple. so impossible for them to sell it before 14th since apple already announcement the launch is on 14th. however its ok. its worth to crazy for apple.. haha…
